Chris Ramsey, PE

Chris has over 25 years of geotechnical engineering experience specializing in design of geo-structural type applications, including foundation and pilecap design.  More specifically, he is knowledgeable in design of micropiles, augercast piles, driven piles, drilled shafts, earth retaining structures (soil nail, tieback, sheet pile, soldier pile & lagging, etc.), ground improvement systems (deep soil mixing, stone columns, rigid inclusions, etc.), underpinning systems, slope stability analyses and designs for repair.  Chris is licensed in eight states and the District of Columbia.  Chris is proficient with geotechnical design software such as SLOPE/W, LPile, Group, Snail, and ShoringSuite. 

Prior to joining Aterra, Chris served in a similar capacity within the Infrastructure Engineering Design group in Nashville for Wood/Amec Foster Wheeler (now, WSP), as well as previous experience in project management and design with a specialty foundation contractor.
