Carl Gustafson, PE

Carl worked for over 40 years for the NRCS. From October 1987 until his retirement from the Agency, he was the State Conservation Engineer for NRCS in Massachusetts. He previously held various engineering positions (field engineer, project engineer, area engineer, assistant state conservation engineer) with the NRCS in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Idaho, and Washington State. He has experience in all phases of the PL566 watershed program, Farm Bill Programs (e.g. EQIP, WHIP, WRP, irrigation and irrigation water management, stream channel stabilization, animal waste storage facilities, water control structures), and EWP. Carl’s deep understanding of NRCS criteria and requirements coupled with his vast technical knowledge make him perfect fit for the Quality Assurance Lead on NRCS projects.
