Madhat Fares

Madhat has three years of research experience in water resources engineering. He obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at Villanova University. While at Villanova he worked with the Villanova Center for Resilient Water Systems and conducted research for the Philadelphia Water Department and Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. His main focus was modeling and testing the efficiency of curb cut openings leading to green stormwater infrastructure. He also spent one year at the University of Michigan modeling flooding scenarios due to Hurricanes in Florida. Madhat has experience working with different programs such as HEC-RAS, Ansys Fluent, Delft3D, and ArcGIS.
